i have been trying all morning to connect my wii-u pro controller to my pc, but it won't work. the worst case scenario is when i open up wiinupro/soft and it doesn't even recognise there is a controller connected. (the devices bar is empty). the best case scenario is that it will recognise that its connected, but not do anything. in wiinupro when i press connect is says unable to connect to device (i tried pressing the sync button but it can't find the controller in the sync window). in wiinusoft it will connect and successfully map it to xbox controller but when i try and use it in-game it doesn't detect any input whatsoever. please help.
These types of issues seem to be coming more common for some people. Did Windows recently update? I mean I know it does all the time, but I'm thinking they changed some APIs on me. Wouldn't be the first time.
sadly i'm not sure, but when i realised i don't have the latest version (accidentally installed 0.9 instead of 0.93) i changed and the joy-cons now work, but the pro controller still doesn't. i think it might a a problem with the pro-controller, i'll have to see if it works on the wii-u still.
I also have issues connecting to the controller. The software seems to work, but is conflicting with Windows 10. The same controller is also installed automatically by Windows. In the Wiinupro window the controller representation responds to the actual controller, but in de game (Tera) no controller is found.
What am I missing and can I do to get the WiiUPro controller working with Tera..?
