I'm running WiiNuSoft 3.2 on Win7 x64. Installed SCP.
First attempt to sync with a Wii U Pro Controller was successful up to a point. Got it set up as an Xbox Mask, changed the buttons, all that good stuff. Unfortunately, I never got the controller's four lights to stop blinking like mad.
Shut down the controller, attempted to re-sync. Now the program won't recognize the controller at all during sync.
Before this I tried installing the Toshiba stack to get things working with the Pro version of the software instead. That didn't go well either; the instructions on this website completely broke down at the point it diverged into parts a,b,c, and part a (applicable to my outcome) told me to "plug in your dongle." Super not helpful when the entire point is to use the new stack on a device that doesn't plug in. However, this latest version of Soft apparently doesn't require the Toshiba stack at all. Or is that bad documentation?
Not sure where this leaves me. I can't even get back to my partial-success state now.
Since you've synced your controller before, Windows probably still remembers it. If you are going to attempt to use Sync again you have to remove the controller from Window's Bluetooth. The whole point of the sync feature is to pair the controller to Windows so you don't have to re-sync it every time.
I am using a normal Wii controller and I had it connected and working then I disconnected it and tried to reconnect it later and it would not show up or connect even after I removed the device and tried it again.
