Hey everyone. I'm having a hell of a time getting my Switch Pro controller working 100%. So what I've been able to do is connect the controller via bluetooth to windows 10. It pairs up just fine. Then I run Wiinupro and in devices I see Switch Pro. Then I click connect, add xinput device and map the controller as if it were a 360 controller. After that in devices it says my pro controller is not connected. I can see the added 360 controller in windows. When I edit the properties, all the buttons/joysticks I mapped seem to register. Now I load up Cemu emulator. I configure the gamepad there with my pro controller. Here is where the weird stuff happens. Everything but the sticks seem to be working fine. But trying to move around or navigate with the left stick is super wonky.
Like at the main menu I can use the left stick to navigate down, and thats it. If I try to go back up it does nothing. When I load into game I don't get full range of movement. The same thing happens on the PS2 emulator. I have the SCP drivers installed too btw. I've been trying to figure this out for over an hour now with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone.
Just a quick question before moving forward. Why use WiinUPro for this? I've never used Cemu, but I assume it works with Direct Input controllers which the Switch Pro Controller supports so you should be able to configure it directly in the emulator without the need of setting up XInput emulation.
Thanks for the reply man. As soon as I read it I laughed at myself. I got it working finally anyways. It was just super late when I did and then I had work today. To use the xinput (which I do use for other emulators) I had to re-calibrate it. After that everything was a go. I had to tweak sensitivity settings in PCSX2 but it works. When someone finally writes a full tutorial, re-calibrating should be in it for sure lol. Thanks again for the reply man.
