Hey ginzu. The IR implementation was very last-minute kind of experimental stuff. It may be that what you need isn't available yet or just hasn't been tuned.
I haven't played around with it for quite some time, but I will look into this my next opportunity to give you a better answer.
Let me just clarify something, by "a return to center effect" what does this mean exactly, as in what is the use case example you can give me just so I can make sure I understand and don't mistake what I think you are talking about with what you might actually be talking about.
Hi Justin. Thx for the answer. Because I am using my wiimote ir sensor like as the analog stick of a Xbox 360 pad, the behavior of the cursor is : when I am near the center, it stick to the center of the screen. I would like it act as a mouse pointer, so the only possibility is to have a 0 value dead zone setting but I am not able to do that...
Hello Justin, I'm trying to do the same as Ginzu using WiinUSoft v3.4. I followed your video tutorial but it seems that the IR Pointer Bounding Box (Dead Zone) values are not saved after the Custom Calibration window is closed with the "done" button. I set the Width and Height to 0 but the pointer still jumps from the edges to the deadzone to the zenter (Deadzone effect described by Ginzu). Also, when I go back to the Custom Calibration window, the value is back as 128 x 128. Is there another way to just disable the deadzone? I'm thinking about
Changing a value in a config/ini file.
Changing a value in the registry
Changing code and recompiling? (I haven't programmed in ages but if you poionted me to the right file I could give it a try)
I tried WiiUPro but unfortunately it doesn't have IR to Stick functionality implemented and I think that would be more challenging to update. Thank you very much for your help and for the great software!
