I can't get any kind of controller working with the software. I've even switched between the regular Microsoft Bluetooth Stack and the one by Toshiba. So here's what I've tried to do:
Using the Microsoft Stack, I try to pair a Wii U Pro Controller through WiinUPro. It recognizes the controller and appears to pair it through the Windows software, but then it abruptly drops the connection after the controller goes to sleep.
I then try to connect it through Windows first. The controller has the first light lit up as if it was paired, but it would not show up in either WiinUSoft or Pro. However, the latter does produce a listing in the software... but the controller image would not show up, so I'm not sure if it worked.
So I try to pair my Switch Joy-Cons next. These almost work, except only the first one to be connected registers any inputs. Doing the Joy-Cons through the Toshiba Stack produces the same result.
Finally, I try to do the Wii U Pro Controller with the Toshiba Stack, but it requires a specific passkey and typing "0000" in doesn't seem to work. So now I'm totally stuck.
It would be really nice if I could at least pair the Wii U Pro through the software, WiinUPro or otherwise. I need help regarding the passkey because I don't think you can skip it through Toshiba. And I'd like to know if I have the most recent version of WiinUPro, because I guess the problem got fixed in the most recent version to come out. But whatever version I'm using doesn't say anything about the revision number anywhere, so I'd like to know where else to find one.
Okay, so I found the new version of WiinUPro, so the Switch controllers are properly connected now... but those don't work very well with my current setup. I I still want to be able to connect the Wii U Pro, so does anyone have help for that?
Sorry I get a bit confused when reading over a few lines of text and I end up missing things (that's not a jab at you, that's just how my brain works, or fails to). I'm surprised the Toshiba stack is asking you for a PIN in the first case, that's never been the case for me when I've used it. Perhaps it's a newer version?
For the disconnecting after a short period part, syncing the controller to a Wii U should correct that issue.
